Safety Engineering

Nuclear Safety is defined by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) as “The achievement of proper operating conditions, prevention of accidents or mitigation of accident consequences, resulting in protection of workers, the public and the environment from undue radiation hazards”.

At NESC, we have highly skilled and technically experienced personnel capable of undertaking the investigation and assessment of nuclear operations to ascertain potential hazards, the associated consequences and their representative risk.

Our Fault Analysis and Risk Assessment capabilities encompass full Deterministic and Probabilistic Safety Analysis, including detailed Radiological Consequence Assessment.

Identifying the associated improvement measures and delivering arguments and justifications is an equally strong skill set of NESC. As such, we are capable of providing our clients with a complete safety case solution.
