Caitlin Dixcey

Caitlin joined NESC as a Graduate Human Factors Engineer in 2024, having graduated from the University of Plymouth with a BSc(Hons) in Psychology. She felt that the transition from education to employment was well fitting and welcoming. The support provided by NESC to graduates allowed a smooth induction to the skills required to undertake projects as well as obtaining chartership.

Currently, Caitlin is working on client projects specialising in Human Factors within the Nuclear and Defence Industry. As a Human Factors Engineer, she quantifies a probably of human error. Through this, engineered assets and administrative activities can be made safer and more effective by ensuring integration of Human Factors into design and operation.
