Working for NESC

NESC is a Nuclear Safety Engineering company with strong links to nuclear and engineering industries and in particular to Southern nuclear organisations.

NESC also has a client link to other consultancy services who branch out into almost all areas of the nuclear industry. Our employees therefore get to experience working onsite for a range of renowned clients to help deliver their nuclear and safety engineering related projects.

Why You?

At NESC, we understand the need to employ graduates from a range of STEM disciplines, who are highly organised, show excellent leadership capabilities and have the attitude to want to deliver to the highest standard. We also want to be able to see that that you can communicate effectively and demonstrate this whilst working within an experienced team. We recognise what graduates can offer to an organisation and appreciate the number of skills they can bring to the company.

Why Work for NESC?

The nature of our work necessitates collaborative working alongside large international engineering corporations including the majority of Tier 1 organisations. This provides an opportunity for exposure to a diverse environment that is both challenging, rewarding and one that no single Tier 1 organisation can offer.  In addition, NESC has been awarded several large-scale and strategic engineering packages that provide us autonomy over our deliverables and working practices, again providing a unique set of challenges and rewards to anyone who is involved with us.

With NESC, you will be supported by our expert engineers from the moment you join us and all the way through your career. You will be encouraged to express your ideas and make your own decisions in a team of highly experienced engineers, allowing for the continued development of your communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Once you’ve started your career at NESC, we will enhance and further your development through our inhouse training packages, and external courses. The experience you gain whilst training, will further support you with obtaining chartered engineer status or alternate professional accreditation if you so choose.
