Alfie raced at the Weston beach race on in early October. Weston is normally a 3 hour race on the Sunday afternoon but due to bad weather the Saturday was cancelled which made the Sunday a full on day as they needed to run 6 races in the same day so they decided to shorten the race to 1 hour 30 mins.
After a good first lap he was running 13th but had a small bike issue on the last lap where the bike wouldn’t start. He still managed to bring home 16th so another consistent top 20 and 1 position better then last year.

In mid October Alfie raced in France. The week before was incredibly busy due to a mechanical failure in Weymouth which meant he only had 3 days to get the engine fixed and back together to leave for France. He managed to get it all done and complete in time for the race on Sunday.

Unfortunately because he didn’t do the first French CFS round he started 305th so was a long way back from the off, which made the first few laps hard coming through the pack of riders. As always Alfie kept pushing on and managed bringing home 64th place despite a crash where he ended up stuck under the bike!
Alfie has another race in France in about 4 weeks so will get training and go again in Hossegor to try beat that result.
