Heather Wilson

Heather joined the NESC team in September 2021 as a graduate, and has since become a Human Factors Engineer. Her responsibilities at NESC currently involve providing human factors input into nuclear safety case assessments and supporting successful implementation of performance enhancing elements into the operational business setting at Devonport Royal Dockyard.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Human Factors & Ergonomics, Heather has a developed understanding of the complex relationship between people and the systems/environment with which they work. She is predominantly interested in human factors integration into high hazard industries, and is enthusiastic about expanding her project work involvement within Nuclear and Defence.
