Pete Wirth

Pete's role within NESC is titled Programme Manager. Since joining NESC his tasking thus far has been predominately technical roles including Reactor Commissioning at BAE Barrow in Furness and currently Engineering Substantiation at Urenco UK.

Pete has a Nuclear Submarine Engineering background, the development of future Submarine Reactors, and its associated systems is of particular interest to him. He considers his career at NESC challenging yet very rewarding. "The opportunities I have had within NESC so far have helped grow both my knowledge and expertise and at NESC I know that this knowledge and expertise will only increase as more opportunities arise in the future."
