On Sunday 7th July, 11 members of NESC competed in an annual Acronyms Tamar 10k race. The event followed a 10k route through St Budeaux, starting at the Marine Academy, across the Tamar Bridge and back up some very long steep hills. The weather was good and even the rain held off until the end. The event was really well supported by the local community with over 500 runners.
Team NESC was the largest corporate team on the day with all runners finishing and achieving fantastic results. Everyone dug deep on the hills to get better than expected running times. There was fantastic support from other NESC staff members and partners. Thank you everyone who helped out and well done everyone who took part, you did yourselves proud.
